Hello everybody!

Before I release Nodame upon the world, I just wanted to give everybody a heads up. At the end of August, I’m going to be heading back to school. Which means NCIS will have a new admin at that time. I won’t be leaving NCIS, just stepping down and stepping back. You’ll still have my live feed, charming personality, and sexy body to keep you company. I’ll have more news as the time approaches.

So, on to Nodame. This is an awesome chapter. Chiaki’s Dad cracks me up. As always, Nodame is an IRC only release, so head to #NCIS@irc.irchighway.net to get it.

We’ve got 2 releases for you today! First off, another chapter of XBlade. This is no_commxxx’s first time cleaning this series, and I think he did a damn fine job. Also would like to thank Light, who PR’d this chapter and always exceeds my expectations. Thanks buddy

Our second release is a new project. I’m not quite sure how we happened to pick it up, but I think Jojo “Cat Hair” Mulligans had something to do with it. She knows I can’t say ‘no’ to her, and took advantage of that fact. Then xip started cleaning the chapter, so, there ya have it. I guess we’ve officially picked up Tsumi ni Nureta Futari, aka “I love my brother, whatcha gonna do about it”.

It’s my first day to be “officially” back. The move is finished…for the most part, so things should start to pick back up a bit. I’m not gonna say too much today, because I’m tired, sore, and trying to catch back up with the group. So, on to the releases!

Hello!

I know I’m posting this late, but I’m happy to see the group got it out on time. I’m in the middle of moving to the new apartment, so things are crazy right now. A big thanks to all my crew for their speedy work while I am away.

Hopefully things will get settled down starting monday, and we can get back to the business of business. For now, I need to head back to the new place and get more things put away and set up, and stop stealing bandwidth from this random unsecured network I found.

I’d like to explain something today. That thing is the difference between ignorance and stupidity. So let me get straight to it in the form of equations:

Vars:
Ignorance = I
Common Sense = C
Willingness to learn = W
Knowledge = K
Stupidity = S
Ability to Learn (ie, IQ) = A

First, the equation for Ignorance:

I = (A-W)/(C^K)

Notice here that stupidity doesn’t factor into the equation for Ignorance. That’s because there’s nothing stupid about ignorance. Also note here that Knowledge has the biggest impact upon your level of ignorance - but since it’s on the bottom of the equation, your level of Ignorance can never reach 0. Everybody is ignorant of SOMETHING. Also note that the top number will never be negative because (1) everybody can learn at some level, thus A will never be <=0, and (2) nobody lives up to their full potential, thus W will never equal A, but can be <= 0 because some people are just unwilling to learn. Which brings us to our next equation:

Stupidity:

S = I - W

It's a simple equation. You'll note that while stupidity doesn't factor into ignorance, ignorance does factor into stupidity. This equation also means that if your ignorance is high, and your willingness to learn is, say, negative, that's a pretty big stupidity score.

So what am I trying to say? And what, in the end, do these equations really mean? Just this: don't let your ignorance become stupidity because you are too lazy or unwilling to learn.

And this whole rant comes down to this: If we've dropped a project, you can be certain that I've given the reasons why numerous times at length. You can also be certain that multiple people have asked before you have if we are going to pick it back up (the answer is no).

And for the love of whatever god you do or don't believe in, +Anima is LICENSED and COMPLETED by Tokyo Pop. We will NEVER be releasing it again. Ever. The End. If you want to read it, go buy it. Jeebus.

Hmm, now that I think about it, I guess the stupidity equation should really be like this:

Hello again!

It’s been a while. This month has been insane for me. While wallowing in that insanity, I somehow got it into my dumbed-down head that I needed to release 7 chapters this week. Why? Because I’m insane, obviously. And probably a masochist to boot. But, whatever!

As I promised before, I haven’t forgotten about the shoujo fans. We have a full volume of H for you girls…and guys. Major props to Eye for cleaning and typesetting this for us. He does great work….However, if I ever see another “schoolchime”, I’ll have to beat you. You know what I’m talking about.

For the fans of our offbeat series, we have 2 chapters of Sing Yesterday for Me, which happens to be the debut work for our awesome new proofreader Light Rocket. Thanks a bunch, buddy

And last but not least, we have chapter 3 of Haruka 17. Again, thanks to Azuki for the TLs, and Light Rocket for the PR. (we are looking for a more regular TLer for this series, if anybody is willing to help out).

As a side note, I must (under protest) t-t-t-t-t-thank Jojo_da_crow, for all of her help this month. I probably would have been completely insane instead of just mostly insane with out her help.

As a bit of other news, I’d like to inform people that I’ve set up a live streaming channel for helping people with editing, live tutorials, and where people can watch how I do particularly difficult or complicated redraws. I haven’t set a regular time each week that I’ll be on yet, however I’m I’m on just about every evening sometime between 4pm and 2am EST. And if I’m not on, you can watch clips of the other tutorials or redraws I’ve done in the past.

Hello!

Busy freakin’ days, eh? Finals going well? Work? Well, I finally found a new apartment, so that’s one thing I don’t have to worry about. But, I finish one thing, and 2 more pop up. Now I have to pack up all my crap within 25 days, then move all that to the new place, clean the old place, then set everything up in the new place, get all my utilities/cable turned on at the new place, and then fight with the old landlord to get my deposit back. Okay, that’s like 6 things, but w/e. But yeah, means things are slow still.

For today’s release, we the final chapter of Aozora Yell, volume 1. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to do a drawing for this one Yes, yes, I’m sure you’re all disappointed. But, to replace that, I have a new video (in 3 parts) up on youtube if you’d like to have a look-see. This one isn’t XBlade, but something for you shoujo fans. I’ll have more shoujo/josei stuff for you later.

For once I’m posting this while not half asleep. I know, amazing, eh?

First, let me post some news. The month of May and probably into early June will be a very busy time for me personally. I’m going to be moving (not far, but still moving), and I’m taking care of things in preparation for going to back school this Fall. Thank you Mr. Job Market, for being so crappy. So, what does that mean for NCIS? Well, I’m still going to be around, but things are probably going to be just as slow. I just wanted to warn everybody of this.

We’re still recruiting, or trying to. That also takes time and energy. So if you think you have what it takes, go check out the Now Recruiting section.

For our release today, we have the return of Coffee Time! A big thank you to Jojo both for her wonderful scans, and for helping me out so much with so many staff inactive. She’s like a big sister to me, and I appreciate her more than she knows. ….Don’t tell her I said that >.>
